Finished!

It's finally finished! And I must say that I am really pleased with the result. There is always room for improvement. But for now, I am really happy with it. Modeled with 3D Max and Zbrush, Textured with Photoshop and Rendered with Vray. Now on to the next project.

Test Render


I was able to finish my work on Shades of Ghrey pretty fast for now. So, I was able to pick up Krang again. I finished texturing him and did some test renders with VRay. I want to make a base pedestal for him also. Then I will pose it, and ready for final render!

Sad News

This is a quick post, just to show how Krang is looking so far. I started texturing it. But another project came up that needs my priority now. The game I have been working for some time (Shades of Ghrey) is finally moving on, and i have to give all my attention to it. So, with all my pain, I am going to put this project aside until i can pick it up again. I will finish it, but in some time.

Model Finished!!!

It is done! Alright, here is Krang's redesigned exosuit. Really tough and ready to battle and even fly. It doesn't matter if you are an evil mastermind, you need some strong armor to protect you. I am really pleased with the results so far. Now I have to texture him, and that is really hard for me. But I have a couple of ideas for this.

Almost done modeling


Well, this is Krang suit almost finished. I am only missing the feet, and perhaps I will make him a jetpack, I think he used to have one, at least in the games he did.
Anyways, modeling is looking good, once finished, I will move on to texture him.

Took me some time to begin but here is how is looking. Now this is a totally different exosuit from the original Krang. I wanted to make him look stronger, even though he doesn't fight at all, but you have to be prepared always when you have the turtles as enemies.

I still haven't decided if I should go with 2 or 4 legs. I'll decide later.

Anyways, this Krang is going to look good!

But I didn't stop there. My plan was to do the whole thing. So, I went ahead and started redesigning the whole robotic body. This is how it turned out.
I was kinda satisfied with the design so I proceeded to model it. Here is how is looking so far. This was done in 3D Max, is not textured yet, and probably I won't texture it.
I wasn't happy with this robot. So, I went back to redesign the entire body. This is how is looking far.
Now I am happy. Yes, I think this one will work.



I have always been a fan of the Ninja Turtles, and for some time now I have been thinking on redesigning Krang.
Yes, up until now I haven't seen anybody model the poor villain. So, I went ahead and redesigned the guy. I went for a similar look from the cartoon, but in the cartoon he was a pink thing with no shape and tentacles. So, I said, to me, he was always a brain. And so, I went for that look. A pink brain with a face and tentacles.
Done in 3D Max, and later in Zbrush. Textured with photoshop. Voila! A new and improved version of Krang! Enjoy.
